Nextbit’s Robin – the smartphone that comes with 100GB cloud storage for backing up your apps and photos – is now on sale, with the online store officially opening today.
Robin is available in Mint, an eye-catching light option with mint top and tail and a white body, and Midnight – a near-black shade all over for those of us who prefer darker coloured phones. The phone costs US $399 (about AU $560), and only the GSM version is currently available, and that’s the version you want for Australian carriers.
Nextbit’s also offering a number of accessories for Robin at some pretty reasonable prices. There’s three cases – Bruises, Bumps and Scratches, offering differing levels of protection ranging from US $15 to US $35, a USB wall charger that’s compatible with QuickCharge 2.0 at US $15 and Nextbit’s nicely styled flat USB-C cable for another US $15.
Shipping appears to be a flat US $35 no matter what’s in your cart. The phones ship in two weeks.
Ausdroid’s Robin review unit is currently in Jason’s pocket – we’ll have more to share on that in the coming days!
The day is finally here – will you be jumping on board with Robin? Tell us in the comments!
