Well there it is, ladies and gentlemen, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has been officially announced by Samsung at IFA, and it’s got some ripper specs..

  • Android 3.2
  • 1.4GHz Dual-Core CPU
  • 16/32/64GB Internal Storage
  • 7.7-inch 1280×800 (WXGA – 196ppi) Super AMOLED Plus Display
  • 21Mbit HSPA+ 850/900/1900/2100MHz
  • 8GB RAM
  • Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 Host
  • 5100mAh Battery
  • 7.9mm thick, 335grams

I don’t think much more needs to be said about this device. It’s incredible on paper, that’s for sure; whether it can pull it off in real world use is another question.

According to This is my next, Samsung are expecting to launch the Galaxy Tab 7.7 “in the next coming months.” Which is always nice, because they can’t launch it whilst there’s an ongoing court battle with Apple — they’ll just try and block it. So, Telstra, when are you going to mention this?
