Nexus 7 - hero - press site
After going on-sale on Google Play in the UK, Germany, Spain, France and Japan yesterday and in the US in late July. The day is here, the Nexus 7 (2013) is now rolling into retail stores across Australia.

The WiFi model is the first one to arrive in stores, with stores such as JB Hifi, Dick Smith and Harvey Norman all advising the stock is on order and due at some stage. A number of retailers are advising that the LTE model is definitely on order, however they cannot give an exact time frame for arrival.

Pricing for the Nexus 7(2013) is on par with the pricing announced by PLE computers back in early August and you can see the pricing as compared to other countries –

16GB WiFi 32GB WiFi 32GB LTE
Australia $299 $339 $439
US $229 $269 $N/A
UK £199.99 £239.99 £N/A
Japan ¥27,800 ¥35,800 ¥N/A
Spain/Germany/France €229 €269 €N/A

A full list of Asus retailers and resellers likely to have access to the Nexus 7 (2013) to order, is available on the Asus Website.

At this stage there are no accessories available to purchase or order. But so far we’ve seen a Nexus 7 Sleeve go on-sale in the US Google Play Store as well as a revamped Travel Case, Premium Cover and Screen Protectors made available through Amazon.

Check out your local stores and let us know if you’ve seen a Nexus 7 (2013) in stock and if there are any accessories. We’re still waiting on Google Play to update to allow orders online, but bear in mind that orders from there will incur a delivery charge.
