With a 10.1” Full HD WQXGA TFT screen running a resolution of 1600×2560 it’s a big step from the previous model which was had only a 800×1280 resolution screen. This jump in resolution is backed up by a 2.3GHz Quad-core Processor and 3GB RAM, with 16GB internal memory which is expandable via MicroSD cards you should have no problem viewing HD quality video on the tablet. For those dedicated tablet happy snappers, an 8MP rear camera with Auto-Focus has been included as well as a 2MP front-facing camera for video conferencing.

The tablet features a ‘Classic Leather-like Notebook design’ similar to that found on the Galaxy Note 3 and like the Phablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1(2014) is also compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch.

If you’re in the market for a stylus driven tablet with a data plan, the Galaxy Note 10.1(2014) is about your best option in Australia. Head over to the Telstra website to check it out.
