Motorola has this afternoon announced two new devices for Australia, bringing the moto g7 and moto g7 plus here to bolster the company’s affordable handset range. The moto g7 line was announced just prior to MWC, and it’s now available here.
The moto g7 offers a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with high-end performance for $399, while the slightly more premium moto g7 plus offers enhanced front and rear camera capabilities for $499.
Both models feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 63x series octa-core processors paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB on board storage. The moto g7 plus features 16 MP + 5 MP dual camera with OIS, promising picture-perfect results. The moto g7 has a slightly lesser 12MP / 5MP camera combo.
The new moto g7 handsets come with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and both have a 3,000 mAh battery which, Motorola assures us, will power the two handsets for a full day of use without issue.
The moto g7 plus and moto g7 are available for pre-order online through selected channels and in-store from Thursday, 11th April through Officeworks, The Good Guys and Mobileciti.
