With a launch event on the 25th of March, the PR crew at HTC are working over time getting the renders up and running in time for the announcement and first to leak is the Gold version of what has been known up until today as the M8, but could be known once released as the ‘All new HTC One’.
The leaks comes courtesy of @evleaks and shows the front and back of the phone in the Gold colour which will surely be named Champagne Gold. The BoomSound speakers are there in all their glory as is the dual rear mounted cameras. The Magazine style Blinkfeed interface is again shown off as are the onscreen buttons.

The design is very much reminiscent of the HTC One, but skewing more towards the One Max with plasticised highlights, but it will all come down to how it feels in the hand in the end. Speaking of, the Power button appears to once again be at the top of the phone, a seemingly ridiculous choice given the 5″ screen size.
The latest spec rumours for the phone are that it will contain :
- 5″ 1920×1080 resolution display with 440ppi
- 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC and Adreno 330 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB on-board storage
- Android 4.4 (KitKat)
Stay tuned for more leaks to follow, there’s a Silver and Grey version expected to be announced as well, so expect renders for those to leak over night.
