The Motorola Moto G is undoubtedly a decent, if not low spec, handset, but one of the features most people probably missed was LTE; it was notably absent. While this probably contributes to the better than average battery life on the Moto G, it also contributes to slower data speeds, and consternation amongst geeks.
However, it seems as if Motorola might be set to answer the wants of these people, with a Moto G appearing on Amazon with the description “Universal LTE”.
You can find the listing for yourselves via the usual product listing for the Moto G on Amazon and clicking on “10 new from $_.” This link will take you to another page listing off all the available Moto G variants including this new “universal LTE” model, available in either black of white.
Unfortunately, clicking on either model brings back a 404, but we think it’s only because the phones have appeared ahead of an official announcement.
There’s an event tonight (Australian time) in London at which Motorola is rumoured to be launching a new phone, which we’re expecting to be the Moto E, but it’s possible the Moto G LTE might sneak out as well!
We’ll let you know when we do!
