With Android Lollipop now official, Google has released the updated developer builds for the Nexus 7 (2013) and the Nexus 5 on their developer preview site.
The new build is LPX13D, updated from the previous latest build of LPV81C. The dowloads clock in at over 300MB each, and there’s been some hit and miss on the downloads as the servers are obviously under load right now. You can find the download links below (they’re directly from Google).
Device | Download | Checksum |
Nexus 5 (GSM/LTE) “hammerhead” |
hammerhead-lpx13d-preview-f7596f51.tgz | MD5: 8d92596aa038203fc6c8ff40a0e8b560 SHA-1: f7596f518a8a429f03de5bf8152fa90e738228dd |

Download, unpack and run ‘flash-all.bat’ on Windows or ‘flash-all.sh’ on Mac and if you’re wanting to avoid a full wipe of the device you can edit the script file and omit -w from the fastboot command, eg:
fastboot update image-hammerhead-lpx13d.zip
Be sure to let us know what you think of the latest Lollipop build.
