It appears that this mornings announcement that Google is making Inbox more accessible is happening in more ways than those announced on their blog, with Android and Chrome chief Sundar Pichai today tweeting that Inbox will be rolling out to Apps customers ‘imminently’.

The lack of Google Apps compatibility has limited the utility of the new mail client for a large portion of the community, so this tweet is welcome news. Exactly when Inbox will be available to Google Apps customers isn’t clear at the moment, but given the extra functionality in the app, we hope it’s soon.
