SGS IV
Longtime mobile editor Eldar Mutazin from mobile-review.com has taken to twitter over night to advise that March 14 will be a big date that could interrupt HTC Sales, referring to the release of the HTC One tomorrow morning in New York. Popular Samsung leak site, SamMobile has previously quoted March 15th as the date for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S IV and they’re also tipping this tweet from Eldar to be related to the launch of the Galaxy S IV. Eldar later goes on to say that the date will also involve New York with SamMobile also advising that they’re hearing the same thing.

TheVerge has now confirmed with sources that Samsung will be holding an event on the 14th of March to unveil ‘one or more new devices’ but has no confirmation that this is the Galaxy S IV. With Samsungs history of secrecy and mis-direction from last years launch of the Galaxy S III we know that the Galaxy S IV is most likely out being tested right now albeit in generic cases that most likely look nothing like the finished product.

The Galaxy S IV is rumoured to be running the Exynos 5 Octa CPU that was announced at CES earlier this year as well as using an in-house produced 4.99″ SuperAMOLED 1080P HD Display. The Galaxy S IV will also be rumoured to run a Touchwizified version of Android 4.2.2(Jelly Bean) right out of the box.

The Galaxy S line have been Samsungs flagship devices, with all their best technology being fed into their production, so it will definitely be interesting to see what the Korean giant has been up to for the last 12 months. Set your calendars and we’ll wait for the invites to start rolling out from Samsung.

Are you excited for the Galaxy S IV? What hardware do you think will be on-board the newest Samsung flagship?
