Lenovo Phab2Pro

It’s been almost 5 months since we went hands-on with Lenovo’s Phab 2 Pro, the first ever Tango-enabled smartphone. Since then the hotly anticipated handset has had a few setbacks and it doesn’t look as if we will be seeing the device come to our shores. If you were still keen to get your hands on one then mark November 1st on your calendar. According to a tiny badge on Lenovo’s Phab 2 page, the Phab 2 Pro will indeed be launching on November 1.

With an expected US retail price of $499 which is about $660 AUD this isn’t a bad device for the price. However, with a local launch not likely, don’t expect much in the way of local apps that support Tango. That said, all the games will work just fine! At this stage, we’re unsure if the Tango will be an instant success or another failed Google endeavour.
