Evan Blass got us excited for the Galaxy S8 yesterday and overnight the guys at BGR have gotten their hands on pictures of a Galaxy S8 in the wild.

The phone doesn’t show a huge amount that we haven’t seen already with the phone having a curved display and lacking any branding on the front of the phone. The Galaxy S8 will have the volume rocker and power button on the left side, with another button mounted on the right presumably for Bixby – Samsung’s virtual assistant.

The top of the phone is unexciting with a card slot presumably for SIM only, though a microSD card would be nice, but this isn’t confirmed. The bottom of the phone is slightly more interesting with a 3.5mm headphone jack present – guess they weren’t courageous enough to remove it.

Spec wise, the Galaxy S8 should arrive with a QHD+ resolution 5.7″ display, while the S8 Plus will come with a 6.2″ display. Under the hood we’ll see the first use of the powerful new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM, storage is expected to start at 64GB and if that microSD card is included we could see anything up to 2TB of storage able to be added.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be announced at an event on March 29th in New York, but the way things are going there’s not going to be much left to announce.
