After a press render of the Nokia 7+ surfaced earlier this week, an in the wild shot of the phone has appeared showing what we can expect to see when the phone is unveiled officially at Mobile World Congress.
The Nokia 7+ photo first surfaced on a Portugese Android Facebook group before showing up on V-Tech. The phone is set to be unveiled alongside the Nokia 1 – rumoured to run Android Go – as well as an updated Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 handsets next Sunday in Barcelona.
The Nokia 7 will feature a rear finger print sensor and dual 12MP/13MP rear camera setup with Zeiss optics as shown in the render. A curved 18:9 display ratio display with a rumoured FHD+ (2160×1080) resolution with small top and bottom bezels that contain a 16MP selfie camera will feature on the front of the handset.
Internally, the rumour mill suggests a Snapdragon 660 processor will power the phone and a microSD card slot should also be included.
Software wise, the Nokia 7+ will, according to Evan Blass (@EvLeaks) who tweeted the above renders, apparently be offered in an Android One config. The major difference between the usual stock Android build offered by HMD Global on their Nokia handsets and Android One is that Google generally controls the software experience whereas HMD build and test Android for their stock handsets.
