Optus has quietly added two new devices to its prepaid line up, which utilise Optus’ X branding with the Optus X Max and the Optus X Delight 2, both of which are white labeled ZTE devices which Optus has partnered with for a while now to bring its X brand to the market.

So what does each device bring, let´s have a look shall we.

Optus X Max

The Optus X Max brings some high end camera resolution to the budget end of the market along with some additional features as well.

The Optus X Max comes with a 6.745” 2.5D IPS HD+ display (720×1600 @ 90Hz refresh rate) and is powered by a Unisoc T606 Chipset Octa-Core (2*[email protected]+6*[email protected]), 4GB RAM along with 64GB onboard storage of which approximately 55GB available to the user which can be expanded to 2TB via MicroSD.

In terms of cameras, the Optus X Max comes with a triple rear camera set up made up of a 50MP main camera lens, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor lens. The front facing camera is a 5MP lens.

The Optus X max comes with NFC, 5000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac at 2.4GHz/5GHz, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth Version 5.0 and GPS alongside a 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint recognition. It also runs Android 12 right out of the box.

Optus X Delight 2

The Optus X Delight 2 is the more basic device out of the two, with the X Delight 2 still bringing some mid range specs to the low end of the market.

The Optus X Delight 2 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS HD+ display (720x1600P @269ppi) and is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A Octa-Core (1.6GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4), 2GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage which has about 24GB available to the user, though it can be expanded to 512GB via MicroSD card.

In terms of cameras, the Optus X Delight 2 comes with a Ai 13MP camera whilst the front facing camera is a 5MP camera.

The Optus X Delight comes with Android 12 Go edition right out of the box and also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n at 2.4GHz, Bluetooth version 4.2, 4,000mAh battery which can be charged via a 10W charger, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.
