We may not be getting Google Play Music All Access with ads for free down under yet, but the curated song lists created by the Songza team that people in the US are enjoying are now available in Australia.
The songs are specifically crafted by Google’s ‘team of music experts (a mix of of DJs, musicians, music critics and ethnomusicologists)’ and include a wide range of songs, but also include Aussie specific song lists like around the campfire, Beer and a Barbie and on the way to the footy.
The mixes are available for Google Play Music subscribers in Australia both streaming and saved offline for playback in those situations where you don’t have great mobile coverage. The mixes can be edited, re-ordered and if you come across a song you like, you can start a mix based on that song, or search for a station or activity you like.
With more than 30 million tracks to choose from – plus an option to upload up to 50,000 of your own eclectic, personally curated music from your collection, it’s time to try out Google Play Music All Access – there’s free trials on offer occasionally (for new users) through the Play Store or for Chromecast owners, and at $11.99 per month, it’s quite competitive, check it out today.
