In all the excitement of the Google Nexus and Chromecast launch this week, we missed the App and Game Deal of the week over on Google Play, but we finally remembered so if you forgot, it’s time to head over and grab a cheap game and cheap app for just $0.20 each. So, what’s up this week?
Runtastic Sit-Ups PRO Trainer
It’s time to get rid of that spare tyre around your mid-section with Runtastic Sit-Ups PRO Trainer which has been marked down from its normal price of US$1.85 to a bargain $0.20 – with no In-App Purchases(IAP).
Runtastic Sit-Ups PRO Trainer gets you to do your situps with your phone on you where the accelerometer will recognise your situps as you do them. The app will guide you through building up your endurance to finally be able to do 100 situps in a hit. As well as tracking your efforts, the app will also try to encourage you as you go and has voice prompts that will let you know when it’s time to rest and when it’s time to go again.
The app itself is fairly easy to use and if you start now, you could be in 6-pack territory in time for beach season as we come into summer.

Ski Safari: Adventure Time
From Cartoon Network this weeks Game Deal of the Week sees you join Finn and Jake from TV’s Adventure Time for a skiing adventure.
The game is simply a revamped version of Ski Safari with Adventure Time theming, so you’re essentially skiing downhill collecting coins and jumping obstacles as you go. There’s different Adventure Time themed levels such as Ice Kingdom, Fire Kingdom, Candy Kingdom, the Forbidden Dungeon, and the Mystery Mountains and you can grab various outfits for Finn as well as selecting various other Adventure Time characters like Jake, LSP, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, Rainicorn, Ice King, Gunter, and more.
Normally valued at US$0.99 it’s a decent buy at $0.20, but worth noting that there’s also In-App Purchases in Ski Safari: Adventure Time, ranging in price from $1.09 – $14.28 per item.
