Another week and another music sale on Google Play Music and this week it’s a focus on Australian artists and as is the norm, there’s a free album up for grabs, this time focusing on classic Australian artists.

The free album, called Play : Aussie 80’s, features 15 hits from classic Australian stars from the 80’s including the Black Sorrows, Daryl Braithwaite, Eurogliders and of course John Farnham. There’s hits from lots of genres, including that great hit ‘I was only 19’ from Redgum and a lot more.
Update: its now Play: Aussie 90’s featuring Daryl Braithwaite – Horses, Natalie Imbruglia – Torn and Mona by Craig McLachlan plus eleven more tracks. The Play : Aussie 80’s album is now $0.99 but its still a bargain.

The sale itself is a mixed bag of great Aussie artists priced from just $5.99, albums like the debut album from grunge/rock band Silverchair and moving into more contemporary Aussie music from The Veronicas and more edgy titles like Walking Under Stars from The Hilltop Hoods.

There’s some decent titles in there, so head over and grab your free album and make sure you stick around and check out which albums are on-sale.
