Microsoft has added a few new features to their Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps for Android in the latest update, adding Send as PDF option to all three, as well as a few other bits and pieces.

The What’s New section gives the run-down on the updates for the apps, which as well as Send as PDF for all three, includes the ability to use the camera on your device to add a picture to a Word or Excel document.

Word also finally gets the ability to open Rich Text Format (RTF) files, while Excel now allows you to convert a table to a range (it splits a table into rows and columns). Powerpoint for Android has one further update but requires an Office 365 subscription to use, offering subscribers the ability to morph, moving several objects at once.

The updates are available now through Google Play, so head over and ensure you have all your updates installed.
