Google is pretty well known for inserting easter eggs in their apps, indeed they’ve put a pretty nerdy one in the phone dialer previously and it looks like another one has been found.
Cody Toombs over at Android Police has found a new easter egg while playing around in the Google Phone 9.0 APKm, which was then decoded by a tipster, which let’s the dogs (or cats) out on your dialer.
According to Android Police, if you dial * # * # 729 # * # * (729=PAW) you’ll see a dog or cat paw pop up to swipe the answer button on your screen next time you take a call. You can disable the easter egg simply by entering the same system code in, it’s simply a toggle.
Here’s the tipsters video of the easter egg in action:
Pretty neat, version 9.0 of the Google Phone dialler should be on your Pixel/Nexus phone, or if you want you can download it onto a compatible device from Google Play.
