Boost Mobile is making changes to its prepaid recharge options which will take effect from March 31 2015. The company is moving expiry to 30 days and the minimum recharge amount to $20, and simplifying their add-on packages with a single $10 option.

Boost’s existing $10/5 day and $20/15 day “UNLTD” recharge options will no longer be available, to be replaced by a new $20/30 day “ULTRA” offer which will see 100 minutes worth of talk per month (+ MessageBank retrieval and 1300/1800 numbers), Unlimited text and 1GB worth of data available for 30 days.

Boost $20 ULTRA offer

The current $40/30 day UNLTD recharge will still be available, though data will remain at 2.5GB.

Boost will also be discontinuing the $5, $15 and $25 add-on packages (which had 5/10/15 day expiries) at the same time, to be replaced by a new $10 add-on package which will have a 30 day expiry and give you an additional $10 credit for calls, text and MMS with an extra 500MB data thrown in – a little better than the current options.
