Are you one of the few people who still own the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v? Well you’re receiving a gift in the form of the Android 3.2.1 update. Vodafone has advised customers via its blog that the update is rolling out starting today, and while it might not be Ice Cream Sandwich, it’s still an improvement over the dated version of Honeycomb. Here’s what the update will bring to the table(t):

User Interface Enhancements:

  • Expanded Recent Apps list
  • Resizable Home screen widgets

Connectivity for USB accessories:

  • Storage Devices
  • Keyboards and pointing devices
  • Joysticks and gamepads

Miscellaneous Enhancements:

  • Support for FLAC audio playback
  • Better WiFi connectivity when display is off
  • HTTP Proxy support over WiFi
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements
  • Security fixes
  • Improved Adobe Flash support in Browser

The update is rolling out over the air, so you won’t have to connect to a PC to download the update. It will be around 140MB in size, and if you’re a Vodafone user you can download it over 3G for free. Make sure you Galaxy Tab 10.1v is fully charged before updating, because nobody wants an extra 10.1-inch brick lying around. Let us know if you’ve received the update by commenting below.
