The day has finally come for Motorola XOOM 2 owners: Android 4.0 is here. Motorola Australia today confirmed that the roll-out of the Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” update has begun for Telstra users. This update applies to both Wi-Fi and 3G variants of the XOOM 2.
It’s a staggered release, so if you don’t get the update today, you’ll definitely get it over the next few days. If you’d like to skip to the front of the queue, however, you can go to Settings > About Tablet > System Updates to get the update started now. Let us know how it goes!
