Melbournians, you’ve asked for it and now it’s finally coming. As Buzz posted back in January the Samsung Experience store is having its Grand Opening this Thursday the 14th of March, at the newly developed Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne. There will be a press event prior to the stores Official Opening to the public on the day, which is expected to be around 10am.
Unlike its sister store in Sydney which is within sight of the main Apple Store in town, from looking around at Google Maps, there doesn’t appear to be an actual Apple store within cooee of Samsungs Melbourne store, although there is an Apple re-seller just around the corner.
James will be attending the event and will also be getting some hands-on time with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which Samsung has advised will be making an appearance at the press event prior to its Australian launch.
