Its seems the 4G competition is heating up with the networks for pre-paid devices, especially since Vodafone only turned on their 4G network earlier this month.
In their latest catalogue, it appears that Dick Smith have begun offering the Huawei Ascend G526, a 4G ready mobile phone for $229.
Now whilst the Huawei Ascend G526 isn’t going to offering rock your socks off specs, it is offering some decent if not okish specs for a pre-paid entry level specs.
Here is a run down of the what the G526 is packing:
- IPS LCD, 540 x 960 pixels, 4.5 inches (~245 ppi pixel density)
- Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU
- 5 MP rear camera, LED flash, VGA front facing camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hot spot
- Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
