One of the worlds leading media search applications Shazam has just announced the launch of version 4 of their Android app which features Lightning Fast Recognition, Beautiful Modern Design and Streamlined Purchasing on Amazon.

Available in over 200 countries and boasting in excess of 350 million users worldwide it’s got a huge client base looking for features and one of the greatest additions to the already useful and quite popular app is tablet optimisation including the new 2013 Nexus 7. Cap it all off with the new design of the app making it prettier than ever and easier to navigate and Shazam will certainly capture the attention of users worldwide.

The press release published by Shazam outlines some of the redesigned features and optimisation:

When people either download the app to their Android device or update the version they already have, they get access to:

  • Shazam’s core features for music – now in a beautiful new design – including: information about the song and artist, music videos, lyrics, sharing on social networks, and more.
  • An exciting new UI featuring an updated listening screen. Shazam has replaced the “sweep” action with an updated blue Shazam dial that responds to music
  • Improved album artwork. Now, when looking at new tag results for music or TV ads or shows, the artwork is larger and more engaging, and and makes it easy for people to listen to a sample of the music and purchase the track or album from Amazon.
  • Optimization for Android tablet devices, giving users a fantastic new full-screen interface to make discovery a more fun and engaging experience.
