Aldi are set to introduce yet another Android tablet this Saturday, with the new Medion LifeTab 7.85″ Android tablet to go on sale for $199.
The Medion LifeTab 7.85″ tablet is offering some decent specs for a tablet given the market it is aiming for. The list of specs are:
- 7.85″ IPS HD Display (1024 x 768)
- 1.6GHz ARM Cortex A9 quad-core processor
- 1 GB DDR3 RAM
- 16 GB internal memory, expandable via microSD memory card
- 5MP rear camera, 2MP front facing
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- Android 4.4
- 200x137x9mm @ 370grams
The main selling point is this, is the inclusion of Android 4.4, on a budget model tablet, which is a very much welcome upgrade upgrade from the usual Jelly Bean or even worse Ice Cream Sandwich base OS install we normally see.
