UPDATE: The testing group has now reverted to invite only as enough test users have come on board. Ustwo Games recently tweeted from their account to this effect:
Thanks everyone for helping out with #android! Monument Valley Early Access signups are now closed, watch this space for round 2 next week

Monument Valley is the new and stunningly beautiful game that has rocked iOS in recent times, and for those in Android land who’ve been wanting to get on board with the action, now you can.
The popular game from ustwo has now been released for early access for Android phone and tablet users, and they want help ironing out final bugs before the final version is released to the Play Store. As an incentive to get in early, ustwo has made Monument Valley available for just 99c USD to testers — the regular price is $3.99 USD.
For those who haven’t heard of the game, or seen its gameplay depicted around social media lately, Monument Valley gives you the opportunity to manipulate impossible architecture and guide a silent princess through a stunningly beautiful world.
Described by ustwo as a surreal exploration through fantastical architecture and impossible geometry, Monument Valley has the player guide a silent princess — Ida — through mysterious monuments, uncovering hidden paths, unfolding optical illusions and outsmarting the enigmatic Crow People.
For those keen to try it for themselves, you can jump on the testing program at the Monument Valley – Android group on Google Groups. Join the group, fill in some basic profile and preference information, and then hit the Monument Valley testing page on Google Play to gain access to the early release.
We’ve been playing it this morning and enjoying it quite a bit, so let us know if you try it out and what you think!
