The build-up to the release of the LG G3 has seen many leaks, and now some beautifully shot press renders for the phone have been leaked to PhoneArena, showing off the phone in Gold, Black and White.
The shots show the phone with what appears to be a brushed metal rear cover, with gently sloping curved corners. The now-famous rear mounted keys are shown up close and in gorgeous detail. Either side of those rear mounted controls are the dual-LED flash, and what we believe is the IR Blaster.
The front of the phone, shows slim bezels on either side of what’s rumoured to be a 5.5″ QHD (2560×1440) resolution display. There’s a small bezel at the top and bottom of the phone, with the LG logo sitting just below the screen allowing for the on-screen display.
With a rumoured spec list that makes even the most hardened ‘hardware snob’ sit up and take notice, the LG G3 is a hell of a device, at least in theory. Rumours have the G3 coming with a Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM powering the phone, with 32GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot, 13MP camera with OIS+ and a 3,000mAh battery all hidden under that 5.5″ display.
The phone is expected to be announced alongside the G Watch on May 27th at an event in San Francisco, New York, and London, with a followup event to be held on May 28th in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. We look forward to seeing this phone and seeing what specs LG have managed to squeeze into this delightful looking handset.
