Sony is not one to rest on their laurels when it comes to building new phones. Working to what seeems a 6 month product life-cycle, they’re on track to release the Xperia Z3 at IFA in September and the phone is determined to see the light of day, first showing up as a mere front panel, it’s now out in the wild as a full phone.
The phone is believed to be the Chinese version of the Xperia Z3 – model # L55t, which follows on from the L50t used for the Xperia Z2 – and has the same design stylings as the Xperia Z2. Also shown in the pictures are front facing speakers, the 20.7MP Camera on the rear with G Lens and the IMEI number…why must you leak a phone with the very thing that Sony can track you with?
The settings pic also shows that the phone is running Android 4.4.4 – although hopefully an Android L release would appear shortly after release – and confirms the phone is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974-AC chipset, rumoured to be clocked at 2.5GHz.
