Expansys Australia has a free shipping promotion on the Google Play Edition of LG‘s G Pad 8.3 at the moment. You can pick one up for a total cost $244.99, providing you use DHL as the courier.
The Australian G Pad 8.3 (with LG’s customised Android UI) got a lukewarm response from Jason earlier this year, but we’ve seen a few people take them up as their tablet of choice in the last few months. The Google Play Edition version of the tablet should address our software concerns, and Expansys is offering the tablet at a good price. If you’ve been interested in the tablet, perhaps it’s time to pull the trigger.
