A Motorola built Nexus phone has been on the wishlist of most Android fans for many years, the closest we’ve gotten so far was the Motorola ¨Droid¨ or Milestone as it was known outside the US, which launched Android 2.0, which was quickly updated to 2.1 – and the Motorola Xoom, which launched Android’s first true foray into tablets. The rumour of a Nexus X, has come to the fore in the last few days thanks to TK TechNews – a leaker who has received backing from famed former internet leaker Evan Blass, the man behind @evleaks.
We’ve seen a leak or two over the last day or so of the Nexus X, first from online retailer Fnac, and then Best Buy in the US, which apparently listed the phone and then pulled it. Today, the latest ‘leak’ is of an Antutu score of the Nexus X :
The specs remain consistent with what’s been shown recently, but it’s nothing concrete. As we’ve learned time and time again, it’s fairly easy to trick Antutu into believing a device is something other than what it actually is. Who knows, but it’s nice to dream.
