Google Developers
Android L is coming, we haven’t seen the final features, or look of the next version, but it’s coming and unsurprisingly it’s a little too late to add new features. With that in mind it’s logical that Google developers have begun talking about the next version of Android and website MyCE has seen a couple of references.

There’s a couple of features which make reference to Android M, notably change 107689 ‘Update protobuf library from 2.3 to 2.6’ a change which looks at the proto-buffers, a way that Google interchanges data between Android and their servers, and change 107482 ‘liblog: logcat: colored output’ a change to Logcat.

Google hasn’t even announced a version number or official name for Android L – Lamington? – but the speculation can now run rampant on what the version # and official name for Android M will be. Suggestions?
