Google Drive are getting in the spirit of giving leading into Christmas. They’ve announced in a blog post that if you purchase a Chromebook (or are fortunate enough to be given one) across the break this year, you can claim a whopping 1 terrabyte of Google Drive Storage as part of your purchase. The additional space on your Google account will be valid for a period of 2 years from the time you claim it. NB. The offer is only valid if it’s claimed before January 1st 2015.
Until now new Chromebooks have been eligible for extra space but only 100GB worth. At a cost of $9.99 per month (if you purchase the space) the offer from Google Drive is worth nearly $240.00 which makes purchasing a Chromebook from the range at retailers such as JB HiFi quite an economic option if you’re keen for more space on your Google Drive.
