Since their launch in Australia, ZTE has been bringing in a few devices to the local market. Not their higher end range like the Nubia Z7 (which we’d love to check out), but lots of entry level stuff, like the Blade C2, which is now available from Officeworks.
Though it’s a year old, you can now grab a ZTE Blade C2, from Officeworks as an unlocked handset for the fairly low price of $99. It’s a pretty basic handset with Dual-SIM capability, there’s not much memory (512MB of RAM) and very little storage (4GB) but it’s expandable via microSD Card, so that’s something. Specs for the Blade C2 include :
- 4.0″ QVGA (320×240) display
- Dual core 1.3GHz processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4.0GB internal storage(2.5GB user space) expandable up to 32GB with microSD
- 5 Mega pixel rear camera, with flash, zoom and auto-focus and 0.3 Mega pixel front camera for ‘selfies’
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3 with stereo headset support, FM Radio, MP3 Player and ringtones, A-GPS
- Radios:
- 2G: 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
- 3G: 850, 2100 MHz with 21Mbps data (HSPA)
- 1600mAh battery
- Android 4.4
- 74W x 54D x 131H mm
The handset comes in white only and is available now from Officeworks exclusively. You can jump on over to their website to see the handset online, as well as check out stock levels.
