Moto G 4G Brazil

In late December, Motorola Brazil outed a 2nd Gen Moto G with LTE for the South American market and they’ve now gotten round to making it official.

The new Moto G (2014) with LTE is now on-sale on the Motorola Brazilian website for R$899 (AUD$431.58) giving the Moto G LTE Gen 2 a hefty premium over the 3G version of the Moto G Gen 2. Price aside, the Moto G LTE does come with a slightly larger 2390mAh battery and with at least 16GB of inbuilt memory compared to the current 3G Moto G which has 2070mAh battery and 8GB of storage.

The phone will come with the black and yellow shells, giving users a chance to give their phone at least a little personal flair.

If you’re hoping to import the new Moto G LTE from Brazil, the news isn’t good as the LTE band the new Moto G LTE will use won’t work with our 3 major telco’s and it would seem that Motorola is making this device for the Brazilian market and for Brazil only.

We’ll have to wait and see if Motorola will make the Moto G LTE Gen 2 available here anytime in the future, but given they released the Moto G 4G here last year, the signs are good.
