Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge - Model
The announcement last night of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge means it’s time to check out the local availability. With such a big name pair of handsets, it would be almost unheard of for the phone to not be made available through carriers and retailers. We’ve contacted carriers and retailers and we’ll be bringing you the updates here.

Optus
First cab off the rank this morning is Optus, confirming that they will carry both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. While no pricing or plan information is available as yet, Optus has advised that this information will be made available closer to launch. Optus has spun up two mini-sites for customers to register their interest in both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Virgin Mobile
Virgin Mobile has advised that they too will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S6 in both the standard and Edge variety, although as usual there is no pricing or plan information available, but Virgin will supply more information as soon as it comes to hand.

Telstra
Telstra has announced via their Exchange blog that they will be carrying the both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Telstra is excited for the launch of these two phones with their compatibility with the 4GX network. Pricing and availability will be announced closer to launch.

Telstra has launched a micro-site to register your interest in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, so if you’re interested in these handsets, head across to the Telstra website and enter your details.
