Prior to Mobile World Congress, LG announced a new range of mid-range phones to be launched in the coming months. The phones drew upon the design language of the higher-end G series phones but were manufactured with a lower price point in mind. There were four phones announced, the LG Magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon and LG Joy. Of the four, the LG Leon has now popped up on the LG website so it looks like the handset will be coming our way shortly.
The LG Leon hasn’t been priced on the LG Australia website as yet, but the phone has a full blurb, with specs and pics to check out. The spec list for the Leon is pretty decent for a mid-range device, it comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop, it’s 4G and has that great LG G3 inspired design.

In terms of release dates, there’s nothing officially announced, nor which retailers will be stocking the handset or if it will be available as a pre-paid device with Australian carriers. We’ve checked in with LG Australia on the LG Leon and will be all over it when they have some more information to share.
