If you ever looked at the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and thought, no, it’s just not big enough? Well, if you have, then Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge+ which is rumoured to be launching alongside the Galaxy Note 5 on August 12th, looks like it should satisfy you fairly handily.
German site, allaboutsamsung.de has gotten their hands on a dummy unit for the handset, which gives us both a look at the phone, and from the finish on it, really confirms the existence of the device.
The phone essentially looks like the Galaxy S6 Edge, with a curved display ether side, and in the shot above, you can see the screen appears to be matched perfectly size wise with the Note 4, which comes with a 5.7″ screen. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been rumoured to have this sized screen previously, which will be a QuadHD (2560 x 1440) resolution Super AMOLED display, though with the curve, you may get a little extra resolution. Under the hood the rumours say an Exynos 7420 processor with 3GB RAM is ready to power anything you want.
We’re still waiting on Samsung to announce the event for the launch of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, but we’ve cleared our schedules around August 12th just in case.
Is this the kind of handset you’ve been looking for?
