The update brings a number of performance improvements such as voice and video call quality, functionality changes as well as content preview in-line when links are posted into chats. There’s a number of contenders in the market for those who want free messaging, but Viber is one of very few that offers apps for PC, Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry and even Nokia.
The full changelog from Google Play:

- Easier video calling – start a video call directly from your recent calls list or from a contact’s profile
- Rich link – drop a link into a message and Viber will create a bubble with the link content
- Share the vibes – invite an entire group to follow a Public Chat
