It’s a new month, so along with a security update for Android we of course also get a look at where each version of Android stands in terms of market share.
Marshmallow and the 5.1 version of Lollipop were the only two versions of Android showing growth this month, with Froyo as usual remaining on 0.1% market share. The remaining versions of Android lost market share in small ways, with the drop from 32.5% to 31.6% the largest drop, with Android 5.0 dropping from 16.2% to 15.4% a close second.
As a side note, it would be a small amount given the small amount of devices available it can be installed on, but finding out how many people are using Android N would be interesting to say the least.
