Can’t get enough of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ in the lead up to the launch? The specs and renders of the phone have re-leaked ahead of the launch thanks to leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer through his @onleaks Twitter account.
There’s several pieces of information in the tweet, including the Galaxy S8 renders in Black, Silver and Purple (the Purple looks hot), as well as full spec sheets. The European pricing for the phones have also been listed with the Galaxy S8 listed at 809€ while the Galaxy S8+ get’s a 100€ premium with its price listed at 909€. You can see the phone renders here in full resolution:
Finally, the specs sheets. As expected, Samsung doesn’t list the processor type, instead listing an Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.3GHz (4x 2.3GHz + 4x 1.7GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage and of course a 12MP rear camera and 8MP on the front. Wireless includes support for loads of LTE bands Bluetooth 5.0, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi and of course NFC. The differences between the S8 and S8 Plus come with the screen size and of course battery, with the S8 coming with a 5.8″ display while the S8+ gets a 6.2″ display, though both have a 2960×1440 resolution. Battery wise, the S8 will get 3,000mAh, while the S8+ gets 3,500mAh.
That’s it for tonight, at least until the phones are officially announced. Get some rest, we’ll see you at 2am for the official launch.
