There’s been no official word since they announced the phones on October 4th on when we’ll be able to buy a Pixel 2 (or Pixel 2 XL) in Australia but it’s now official: October 31st is the day.
We’ve had unofficial confirmation through leaks from both Telstra (the exclusive carrier partner) and JB Hifi, but it’s always nice to have it official and Google Australia has now confirmed the date through posts on their social media channels:

Telstra hasn’t announced pricing for their plans but are expected to when they begin taking pre-orders for the Pixel 2 this Friday (20th of October). Google has not spoken about pre-orders through the Google Store, nor pre-orders through retailers but have announced the outright pricing for the phones:
Pixel 2 | Pixel 2 XL | |
---|---|---|
64GB | $1,079 | $1,399 |
128GB | $1,229 | $1549 |
