The recently announced Fossil Q Control is the companies latest Android Wear powered smartwatch and after a small delay it’s arriving in Australia this week for $449.

The watch is now available on the Fossil Australia website with a black silicone band in keeping with the sporty design of the watch for $449. The classic minimalist design of the Q Control which includes a heart rate sensor (but no GPS) makes it the perfect mix of business and pleasure.

The 45mm Stainless Steel case is just 14mm thick, and is waterproof up to 5 atmospheres. The band is interchangeable with the 20mm silicone strap easily replaceable.

Internally the Q Control is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and comes with 4GB of on-board storage. As well as heart rate sensor, the Fossil Q Control also comes with an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light, and Altimeter built-in and Fossil say it has all day battery life.

The watch is running Android Wear 2.0 and is available to check out now on the Fossil Australia website.
