This year, Huawei has shown that what can be done with a triple camera system in a smartphone and the results are stunning. Next year, Samsung looks set to adopt a similar triple camera system in their Galaxy S10 according to recent rumours. Today, the camera details have been “leaked”.
Consider the following tweet with a helping of salt. It was sent by Claud Yau, a self confessed Samsung fan but little else of note with respect to Samsung. The image could well just be fan-made. The Tweet reveals the specs for the three rear cameras and can be seen below:

While the image in the tweet looks official, it’s not hard to make up a table with specs such as these within. According to the table there appears to be a variable aperture main sensor of 12MP, a 16MP wide-angled sensor and a third 13MP sensor that is of unknown type (possibly a telephoto lens). There is OIS on the first and third cameras but not the wide-angled lens.
While these figures match rumours we have seen recently, there’s little to confirm these figures, leaving them purely as speculation.
If Samsung do in fact include a triple camera setup in the Galaxy S10, it may well be the push their smartphone cameras need after languishing behind their competition this year.
