With only a few months until the expected launch of the Samsung Galaxy S11 at or near MWC 2020 Samsung is running out of time to release its rumoured Lite variant of the 2019 Samsung Galaxy S10 range. Earlier this week we got a look at rumoured specs for the device which is now expected to be launched at CES 2020 along side the rumoured Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
The Galaxy Lite S10 may be replacing a model in the old Samsung A series, trying to entice buyers into the top of the mid tier by still offering the option for an affordable Galaxy device. Rumours suggest we are looking at a 6.7-inch 2400 x 1080 20:9 display with an Infinity-O hole for the front facing camera, a Snapdragon 855, 8GB RAM, 128 GB Storage and an SD slot.
Camera-wise it will be packing a 48MP f/2.0 main lens with a 12MP f/2.2 ultra wide sensor and a 5MP f/2.4 MP macro rounding out the triple rear array. Around the front there will be a 32MP f/2.2 front facing camera. Other specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor (likely the same luck-luster component found in the current Galaxy S10 series), a 4500 mAh battery, USB-C with 45 W fast charging support.
Samsung has managed to keep the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite relatively quiet, especially seeing as CES is only 2 weeks away. With Australia traditionally getting the ‘A’ range of devices there’s a good chance we may actually see this well-specced device hit our shores at a more reasonable price than the current generation of flagships.
