If you want a smart display but the 10 inch size of the Echo Show 10 and Google Nest Hub screens are too small for you, then Amazon may have a device that will be of interest to you.
Launching next week on 30th March, the new Amazon Echo Show 15 is now listed on the Amazon Australia website as well as JB Hi-Fi and will cost $399 by itself, $448.95 with a standard tilt stand or $458.95 with a tilt and swivel stand.
Amazon hopes that this new smart display featuring a 15.6 inch 1080p Full HD resolution screen, 5 MP camera and two 1.6″ speakers, will be prominently displayed in your kitchen or dining room.
One key difference the Echo Show 15 has to it’s smaller Echo Show cousins besides the larger size screen is the new Amlogic Pop1 octa-core SoC with Amazon AZ2 neural network engine. This enables machine learning such as a new facial detection (locally stored).
We’ll let you know more about the Echo Show 15 once we get a hands on experience of it next week.
