Microsoft has been making quite an effort to support both Android and iOS with their apps, but their hardware is also quite supportive of different mobile OS’s. The Microsoft Band supports both Android and iOS, and from today health nuts can pre-order the Microsoft Band in Australia.
The Microsoft Band is the second generation, addressing a number of hardware design issues with the original. The Band is available in 3 sizes and can track a lot of your fitness needs such as heart-rate, calories and sleep as well as your location with the in-built GPS when you go running. The Microsoft Band also supports alerts for email, text and calendar alerts.

For all that tech and functionality though, the Microsoft Band isn’t cheap with a $379.99 price tag attached to the unit. It’s pre-order only, but that pre-order period will be brief with units expected to be arriving in users hands by the 21st of January.
