The Asus update train moves ever forward, this time delivering Android 4.2.1 to the Transformer 300TG. Thanks to a tip off from Boulton who advised that his TF300 received the update over the air(OTA) this afternoon, bringing with it a new launcher which he describes as more Nexus looking. From all accounts he is liking the new update.
From looking around the internet and confirmed by the screenshot below, the Android 4.2.1 update for the TF300TG is Firmware Version 10.6.2.3 and weighs in at just over 463MB in size, so make sure you’re on a Wi-Fi connection if you’re at all worried about your data cap.
